Adam Schiff could have written that “resignation” letter. It’s a gold mine for Democrats and they will run with it. As Mattis intended I guess. He’s making trouble for POTUS here with the new Dem House. No doubt.

True. I’m hoping it won’t matter though. In a way, it puts the left in a tough position. To use this to criticize Trump, they have to take Mattis’s side over Trump’s when Trump did what the left claims they wanted all along (i.e. to pull troops out of the middle east). Now they have to agree with Mattis, who wanted to keep them there.
