Hanley on Tuesday morning wasn’t sure of the exact inventory of the more than 10 confiscated weapons, but said they largely consisted of hunting rifles and handguns. He doesn’t believe any semi-automatic assault rifles or shotguns were among the bunch.

What the police did was what you’d expect in any totalitarian regime. Thus proving three things:

1. The police are NOT your friends and
2. The police will violate your constitutional and God given rights for the flimsiest of excuses
3. Most police have an inner stasi/gestapo/NKVD that they desperately want to exercise.

I’ve read the VT law and see nothing about removing weapons from a ‘third party’, who presents neither a risk to himself or others. It’s the socialist Bernie supporters here, and our useless RINO Governor, that are pushing this garbage.

I don’t believe they would have had such cooperation if they’d tried this in the Northeast Kingdom.

Now that the VT legislature has a veto-proof majority for the next two years, I can only imagine the crap that will come next.
