You misinterpreted what President Trump wrote. He did not signal an immediate shutdown and seems to be publicly negotiating with Democrats that if they want something specially for their policy (infrastructure for urban areas for example), he will consider it in trade for the wall.

"The Democrats, who know Steel Slats (Wall) are necessary for Border Security, are putting politics over Country. What they are just beginning to realize is that I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure, unless it has perfect Border Security. U.S.A. WINS!"

The left is a highly deceptive lot that thrives on dividing society, muzzling it, and dumbing it down thru PC and importaton of unassimilated third world masses.

There is an intent at eventually controlling and eliminating democracies just as did the most vile gun grabbing, human exterminating, authoritarians throughout world history.

It starts by eliminating free speech and all published opinions that differ from their own. Be afraid but oppose their every attempt at taking our security and freedoms.
