When Tom Coburn came back to OK...he was disgusted. Why? Because both sides were not interested in cutting spending.
And both sides were reaching around the other...to give them "hugs".
AFAIK we don't have the exact text of the threats. We know that McCabe said in a meeting with "more than a dozen" top FBI bosses "F*** Flynn and then we f*** Trump," and many of the invite-only crowd cheered. How many of them have been forced out of the Bureau? Probably not enough.
We're all sick of it... but we're not quite ready to put on our yellow vests... The American way of revolution is different than the French.. they go too far and accomplish too little (think French Revolution and beheadings etc...) Have faith - when our ideas jell - and we're comfortable with the path - it'll happen...
The FBI was wrong.
Our thugs were putting the old KGB thugs to shame... that bunch did the same thing. If ‘the people’ elected the wrong person, the KGB ‘corrected the mistake’... just like our FBI thugs wanted to do.
The FBI was wrong - they did NOT have the right to nullify the vote of American citizens.
In the sixties FBI thugs thought it was their job to stop the civil rights movement - they didn't trust the Representatives of ‘ the people’ and sided with the corrupt racist ‘elites’ of that time.
The FBI was wrong then - they're wrong now.
The FBI needs to clean house before they're painted with the same broad brush as in the sixties... it's NOT the FBI's place to second guess the rights of citizens to elect their leaders or have voters protected. Period.
I'd guess...95% of those that I've talked to..don't know it was the Republican's that fought against slavery.

Good post. However, the national news media in the 60s, for the most part, favored the civil rights movement. Today they (along with “entertainment” media, the “education” industry, and corrupt politicians from both major parties), are doing an effective job brainwashing a lot of voters.

I agree with everything you said - except the above... You're assuming these kids have voluntarily read a book - any book - at any time. That might not be the case...
