It appears that Flynn’s defense counsel’s role in this case is to warm the chairs and not actually do anything.
I agree with that line of attack, Strozk was deeply and ideologically biased against Trump and everything he stood for, and let it be known he had an insurance policy to stop him. Totally biased, 50,000 text messages to prove it.
Yet if the only thing that Flynn did illegally was to lie, and the only reason he was asked about any of it originated from the illegality of the DOJ investigation and the Mueller Investigation - he has grounds to dismiss. Obama’s people released American citizen wiretaps to the press as an act of political retribution, and then paid spies in the Trump campaign to create cause for the US government to wiretap and ultimately destroy his campaign — then all of this is fruit of the poisoned tree. I would dump all off it and let these people walk.
The only reason they are being prosecuted is that they voted for Trump.
