BLAST TO THE PAST

Judge Sullivan is a good man . . . . Judge will NOT rule in favor for Flynn.

Go back and look at what "really" happened in the "Stevens" case.

Judge deals blow to case against Sen. Stevens

An excerpt from the article . . .

"A federal judge on Wednesday allowed the criminal charges against Sen. Ted Stevens to stand, but he delivered a sharp blow to the government by throwing out key evidence in the case.

Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, in the second time in as many weeks, rejected a defense motion to declare a mistrial or dismiss all seven felony charges facing the Alaska Republican, but he scolded the government for keeping key evidence from defense lawyers that they could have used during cross-examination and their opening argument."

Ya see . . .
1. The judge allowed the case go forward,
2. Stevens convicted,
3. Stevens loses the election . . . NOW
4. With political cover, then and only then did Judge Sullivan go after the prosecutors.

And oh by the way . . .

Except for the one kid who committed suicide, NO ONE, NOT ONE prosecutor was punished.

Yes, two prosecutors were given 45 and 20 days time off, but they appealed and NEVER was given any punishment.

There excuse. "THEY DID NOT DO IT ON PURPOSE!

Nothing happened except the conviction was overturned!

Y'all see the pattern here. By the way . . . that was in 2008!

Nothing changes

Well then, I hope that the Judge is determined to make reparations for past mistakes and does the right thing for Flynn!!!

He is retiring as soon as this case is over - I hope he goes out with a BanG!!! or maybe even, a BooM! lol...

1. Fact: Sullivan dismissed the charges against Stevens. Period

2. Fact: Sullivan appointed a special prosecutor to investigate the prosecutors in that case.

Having tried many civil cases myself, I can tell you judges have let cases go to juries, hoping they (judges) don’t have to act, because a jury verdict will render the aggrieved party’s complaint moot. Such an outcome avoids appeal. If the jury issues an adverse verdict against the aggrieved party, judge will step in post verdict. I have no idea what Stevens will do and I would respectfully argue none of us do

Nothing happened except the conviction was overturned!

Which is what the judicial branch can do. The judge cannot prosecute wayward lawyers.

Yep. I knew enough of this to consider all Sullivan does as saving face, so he can go on being called a straight shooter.
