So, are the members of the Venezuelan military and police so well taken care of that they’re bling to the suffering of the people? Does Maduro treat them like the Norks, where the military is loyal because they get taken care, while the people are happy to catch a few rats?
This has the potential to speak volumes if things start to slide, even faster, downhill in this country if we all think that the police and cops will line up with the people.

I’ve often wondered about that. Even if the elite forces are well-fed, they must be seeing the suffering of their cousins, their aunts, their friends. Maybe they are so brainwashed that they don’t think it’s the government’s fault at all.

Not well enough. There are reports that trickle out now and then about soldiers stealing livestock because they're desperate for food.

Yes the military and police forces are paid ten times the exchange rate, so if its 200 bolivars for exanple to a dollar they get 20 bolivars to the dollar. So they get 2000 bolivars and exchange it for 100 US, everyone else gets 10 dollars US
