If the future was female, then men wouldn’t be winning female sporting events and beauty contests. Furthermore, there would be no need for endless programs and cultural changes to science and engineering from solo pursuits as mad scientists alone in their lab until 4am each night to the solo garage tinkerers who built competing empires in the world of computing, changed to ridiculous group efforts with science defined by committee rather than experimentation to encourage women to do science, math and STEM.
Not saying there are not great and brilliant female scientists and engineers, but those are the ones who naturally gravitate to those kinds of pursuits and do not need special groups, clubs, programs and artificial recognition for accomplishing the most mundane tasks for it.

Exactly! And pushing women who are not capable into those fields just makes those of us that are capable look bad. Much like the Supreme Court decision upholding quotas makes me question the abilities of doctors that are anything but white males.
When I got my engineering degree, I had the second highest GPA, behind a man of course. Same thing with high school :-( but he worked harder than I did obviously so that’s all right. But there were a couple women in my class that could barely make it, and the men joked that they were just there for their Mrs degree. I imagine it is much worse these days. Sometimes I was the only woman in the class, but the men and professors respected me because I could actually do the work.
