Liberals hate the fact people can buy health insurance without the Obamacare premium.

Not surprisingly, there’s a fake news media blackout on it.

“Obamacare is a terrible deal for virtually everyone who doesn’t have a very costly pre-existing condition, such as cancer. “

Not true. For the people that make too much to qualify for Medicaid but Not much more, Obama care is quite lucrative. Their premiums are super low, and their deductibles are minimal. This is called cost saving reduction. Anyone can Google it, and I don’t know why this author didn’t. It’s not very well advertised, probably because they didn’t want the people that are paying through the nose for Obama care to know that they are subsidizing people that basically get their medical for free.

Only people with a low IQ are still enrolling in Obama Care.

If the government wanted to increase the cost of health insurance and health care, what could it do?
Create a new, expensive federal and state bureaucracy? Check.
Expand existing federal agencies such as the IRS? Check.
Create a layer of compensated middle men to guide people through the process? Call them Navigators? Check.
Restrict participation by insurance companies? Check.
Restrict permissible insurance plan choices? Check.
Mandate coverages that many people don’t need? check.
Increase taxes, on consumers, on insurance and medical devices. Check?
Increase paperwork. Check.
Separate the cost of the insurance from the user’s pocketbook to remove the incentive of frugality. Check.
Subsidize selected providers of insurance? Check.

What do we call this comprehensive act to increase health care costs? How about the “Affordable Care Act?”

I’ve been hearing a lot of advertisements over the past year for “non-Obamacare” policies - now that they are legal again with the penalty gone.

Farm Bureau in Tenn. has several good health insurance options that are NOT ObamaCare, and considerably less expensive, even accounting for possible “tax” on no purchasing through the exchange.

If you like your health insurance, you can keep your doctor.

Obamacare was the opposite of that pledge.

The tax credit can be up to 98%.

Some of you might pay $550/month.

Some of them, $11/month.

Many of them take bronze plans and pay $0 in premiums.

Off topic, but, I can’t wait to hear the wailing from the liberals, about the judge ruling Obamacare is unconstitutional, because they repealed the tax/penalty attached to Obamacare.

Remember that John Roberts’ upholding Obamacare was based on the penalty really being a tax. Now that this tax is gone, per Roberts’ own criteria, I would expect the Supreme Court could overrule their previous opinion.

This lower court ruling will eventually hit the Supreme Court for resolution.

I’m no attorney, but it seems persuasive. If Obamacare was originally upheld only because of the penalty/tax/compulsive payment, and that aspect of the law is gone, is the rest of it still constitutional?? We will find out.

The commie led RAT party is all about building the largest base of moronic victim-class dependancy group they can. NOTHING will stop them - all we can hope for is that TRUMP slashes more of their welfare programs becuase it sure as he$$ isn't going to happen in Congress by either party.

My husband retired from the army in 1979 after serving almost 22 years. We have Tricare for life and Medicare. Before Tricare was available to us we did not have any health insurance.

Its unconstitutional minus the penalty.

If there’s no compulsion to buy the Obamacare insurance, the reason for propping it up has disappeared.

Time for the Rats fo go back to the drawing board.

“Now that this tax is gone, per Roberts’ own criteria, I would expect the Supreme Court could overrule their previous opinion.”

Roberts may have done himself in by mentioning that the commerce clause does not cover Obama care. The only thing that did was that he considered the penalty a tax

He won’t be able to go back and change his mind. And perhaps he doesn’t want to, I really don’t know. Wasn’t he the one that said that it wasn’t up to the courts to fix a bad law? I’m not sure if he was telegraphing that that’s what they wanted to do or not. But the fact that he was going to vote one way and then immediately changed his mind one day before the vote, makes me suspicious.

I expect the Supreme Court to let the TX ruling stand.

Congress has to figure out how that gets fixed. Not CJ Roberts’ problem.

Its a political issue for politicians to resolve.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Roberts chooses not to hear the case at all.

In 2018 only about 17 states and the district have ACA exchanges.

Unsustainable ACA Exchanges continue to die as planned. The failure was supposed to cause Socialized single payer Healthcare based upon nasty European lines.

Obama for all of his eight years as POTUS has a “ZERO” accomplishment legacy. Yes, the truth hurts...but, the truth is still always the truth!!! Worst POTUS in the entire history of the USA.
