That doesn’t seem to be the case. How China operates is sending in weapons and giving UNSC protection to the warlords in exchange for China getting the resources.
I don’t ever want to see us fighting wars over Africa......its a totally different culture and intellect...

There’s an enormous amount of mining going on and potential mining - that’s the reason Clinton was so enamored of Morocco and a number of other countries there. Same goes for her pal Joseph Wilson.
Cobalt, coltan [tantalite], uranium, platinum, and petroleum and NG all are on the table with all their byproducts. Africa has almost a third of the planet’s remaining unexploited resources.
