“Trump wants Mitch and Nancy to pass a new great healthcare bill that protects existing conditions! What a buffoon.”

Yep. Rewarding the irresponsible.

Actually the only thing I was in favor of in Obamacare was the individual mandate. If you expect to be taken care of when you get sick then you should be forced to contribute to the system.

What we’re left with today is allowing irresponsible people to use emergency at no cost to them.

I don’t think the President gets to decide that a law will remain in place. The Congress is supposed to write the laws.

The judge in the case ruled it would remain in place while the case is being appealed.

Right; that’s water over the dam, but at least you’ll have an affordable choice now.

“...every time a federal judge strikes down some Trump action, the ruling takes immediate effect? But when a judge strikes down a Dem law, the ruling has no immediate effect?”

Amazing how that works, isn’t it?

I do not disagree with you. However, when it comes to government holding on to power, logic and law rarely find a their way into the situation.

I think that we will still have ACA 30 years from now. If not, hey awesome sauce. Few things make me more angry than ACA.

Yes. I expected that. He is a longtime SES establishmentarian.

I opposed the way he was treated, but I did not support his candidacy.

“Why would Trump allow this ?”

Once SCOTUS accepts the case, then you both argue it to be manifestly unconstitutional. Join the Texas judge in destroying it forever!

That would be why I think they would do this.
