I was hoping Trump could entice him when I heard Allen was going to retire.
Can't blame Mulvaney for not wanted the job. It is one of the toughest, most thankless jobs in the WH.
I'll bet even Mulvaney was afraid it might be a "Waterloo" position for him.
If Mick takes the job permanently, I think he'll be find he can not only make a major contribution to the administration and the Country...but that he can also use this job as a door opener to great new things.
He's the perfect choice, IMHO.
