It’s not uncommon practice to withhold the name of a suspect. Yes, there may well be a lot of Muslims in Rotterdam, but there are also a lot of other folks too. And this man may not even be from Rotterdam.

He could be Muslim, he might not be. I wouldn’t at this time associate “stabbing” with JUST Muslims the way I would “beheading” or “throwing acid”.
