A similar pattern is emerging in the Catholic church. My son is going though confirmation class, and I will not let him attend any of the overnight retreats.
Liberals insidiously infected the most conservative of institutions, and are now in charge of them in many instances. Their attacks on the family continue as we speak, since the family (one mom, one dad) is the last remaining firewall to their total destruction of all that is normal.
Smart precaution. My parents were the same way and all four of us kids went to Catholic schools K to 12 yet avoided getting preyed upon. Some of our classmates were not so fortunate.
