I checked the FN poll methodology. They do random dialing of land line and cell phones, but only a total of 900-1000. That’s too small a sample to represent the millions of Americans of voting age.
I’ve never been able to believe Fox News polls. Their results defy common sense.
EX: Why would 56% say the economy would be better next year, in Dec. 2016, before Trump was POTUS? Now, with the economy being better than it’s been for decades, the poll indicates only 46% think it’s better or will be in 2019.
Probably, the only people who answer such poll calls are older Baby Boomer and Silent Generation women, who have nobody else to talk to, and who watch CNN all day long and have been taught to hate Trump.
In a reasonably stable economy, it ought to be true that 50% would say better, and 50% worse. I don’t think that 46% is at all significant, it simply says that people expect this good economy to continue.
