No, it’s too risky to have a special election for the House for an R seat.

Why not? Let’s lose a House seat (instead of a Senate seat) in a red state to the Dems, for a change.

Mulvaney is my first choice. Even over Ayers.

I really don’t understand why anyone would take this job who wasn’t already retirement-eligible. Not only is it short-term, you can’t even run for re-election.

Meadows doesn’t have much House seniority, and is now just another minority party member.
It would seem a good choice for the White House gatekeeper, but the President seems to make these proposals without consulting with the person involved first.

You don’t want a flippin’ politician in that job! You want a hard-ass administrator, someone who knows how to run stuff, and how to say “NO!” about 100 times more than he says yes.
Look to industry if you can find an old guy who hasn’t been suckedi to political correctness or find another military general. Hell the guy who’s successfully run a Trump hotel for a few years would be infinitely better than anyone whose ass has warmed a Congressional seat.

No, we have too few people in either chamber that side with the citizens and the rule of law.

No politician, please. Most of them are too wishy washy. Although, an honest one to have for a drinking..er...a...big Mac eating, buddy wouldn’t hurt.

Why isn’t Dave Brat being considered? He’s articulate, and will be out of a job in January.

I’d take Mulvaney, Kobach and Bongino, in that order.
(Yes, Dan Bongino is a ‘fun’ pick - anything to make Lib heads explode)
