Isn’t that the same as pleading the fifth? Of course Lois Lerner did the same thing, after declaring she did nothing wrong, and the castrated Republicans did nothing.

I would think so, too. A witness under oath can't just refuse to answer unless they are taking the fifth (unless the Republicans' were unwilling to press the point).

It is not the Republican's charge to do anything other than to point out wrongdoing. The Attorney General is the dude who can bring charges against this a..hole and all of the others who have been skating the law. But that won't happen. Those folks answer to the other set of laws, not the laws that we common folk have to answer to. Sad, but true....
