During the Iran Contra hearings in the 1980’s dealing with Reagan, the private air force that was used was run out of a little city called Mena. Mena was in, wait for it, Arkansas. Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas at the time, but I don’t remember that being mentioned much back then. He has been a dirt bag his whole life.
And the dirt bag running that operation out of Mena was named GHW Bush.
The recent made in america movie with T. Cruz was about that activity. It is a bit editorialized but a good deal of the Mina issue are accurate from what I gather. The movie made it looks as if the principal character was working for the CIA while running a side business moving drugs. In the movie there is a phone contact between the Attorney General for Arkansas who had Cruz’s character in court and Clinton directing her to let him go.
During the 80s, one of the principal dirt bags was Noriega in Panama. He was playing both ends, protecting drug shipments while feeding info to the CIA supposedly about commies in Central America. Too much of what was going on during the 80s is hinted at in many books and movies but little has actually come to the fore IMO.
The movie “American Made” helped finally lift the veil as to how dufus Bill Clinton had a meteoric rise in politics. I always wondered how a no name, small time hill jack rises to so much power. It was his reward for allowing the CIA cocaine cartel to base its operations in Mena,AR.
CIA has been covering for the Clintons ever since.

State and federal investigators had tracked Will Clinton’s involvement, all the way back to Wills financial ties with two Chinese banks, as they partially financed his race for Arkansas Attorney General. This relationship became more pronounced during Will’s tenure as AG.
While Arkansas AG, among other fraudulent land deals and criminal activity (including involvement in prostitution and the drug trade, and later carefully covered up), Will’s AG office put significant pressure on Sam Walton, to significantly increase trade with the Chinese.
Later, investigators would disclose significant evidence of fraud, racketeering, and other significant crimes being committed during the same time frame. The infamous “body count” was already becoming hard to simply ignore.
In time, (as they would later significantly finance Wills run for POTUS, through what was known as China-Gate), the Chinese were involved in financing his run for Arkansas Governor. After becoming Governor, Wills criminal underworld became more dangerous, widespread, and influential. A number of witnesses (including state police), were turning up dead, with questionable to impossible coroner reports, or no coroner reports at all. In some instances, there were little to no investigations taking place. The local press and media also covered up, or segregated out nearly everything.

The FBI became deeply involved in the international investigation of the Clinton’s, and was closing in, when they were forced to drop dozen’s of RICO and other related indictments.
The reason being, the communists had by force, systematically taken over Panama and Grenada, and President Reagan sent American forces in to free both of those jurisdictions. Tip O’Neill (Democrat Speaker of the US House), was angry President Reagan had used American forces to kick the communists out of Panama and Grenada, and was now threatening Ronald Reagan with impeachment (which was plausible, due to the high volume of democrats in the House), if Reagan were to spend “one dime”, or put “any American boots on the ground” in Nicaragua, to stop what was ultimately a Soviet lead attempt to install their new friendly leader through a bloody take over. The Soviets wanted, and would in the 1990’s, (while Clinton was president), finally install one of their most strategic signals and electronic intelligence outpost in the world, in Nicaragua. Additionally, in the mid 90’s, (while Clinton was president), Moscow also built permanent posts for a brigade of Spetsnaz in Nicaragua.
With the legitimate threat of impeachment if US Forces or money were to be utilized in Nicaragua, the President Reagan’s White House sought other means to intervene, as they could not use American money or forces. Individuals in the CIA developed a plan to support the “Freedom Fighters” in Nicaragua against the bloody communist take-over. The plan included selling dummy missiles to Iran and Iraq (which had been in a bloody war, with at least 2.5 million dead), taking the proceeds, and buying both humanitarian aid and weapons, to support the Freedom Fighters against the communist in Nicaragua. No American money/No American “boots”! The problem, logistics. The DoD could not be officially involved, or Reagan risked impeachment. Because of this, a call went out to the nations governors for assistance. As the state governors were aware of the threat to Reagan, only one governor volunteered his Air National Guard Planes. As he was about to be brought down, guess which one?
While the outcome is not one I would have chosen, this set up a closed door fight between the cia and fbi. Which was more important, indicting a criminal governor, or stopping the bloody communist takeover of Nicaragua, and letting Moscow set up shop against the US on our doorstep?
Clinton literally received a lifelong “get out of jail free card”! Not so ironically, this was not the first time this happened Bill Clinton.
