I can’t wait for the Weekly Standard to go out of business. This puff piece for a democrat who tried to personally destroy one of our judicial nominees is a perfect case in point.

No wonder that magazine is going under. That article was numbingly vapid.

Someone needs to follow Corey Booker's twitter and edit every selfie he posts to say "I am Spartacus."

Sorry, but he missed the boat. We’ve already had a gay black male socialist with no identifiable skill set beyond getting elected in a heavily black district.
Obama got the ticket for that ride.

For the same reason Mark Cuban has no chance. There has already been a celebrity billionaire.

Interestingly, the weakly standard Twitter feed doesn’t mention anything about it being a conservative outlet in their bio. As Ace had 6 pointed out, they’re probably pitching themselves as a new Slate or Atlantic for some progressive zillionaire buyer.

All we need to know about Mr. I-am-Spartacus is wrapped up in his fake tales of his imaginary friend in Newark.... “T-bone” was the name.....

Does Booker have a speech impediment? He always sounds like Sylvester J. Pussycat.

From Wikipedia about Spartacus:

Legacy and recognition

Toussaint Louverture, a leader of the slave revolt that led to the independence of Haiti, has been called the "Black Spartacus".[48][49] Cory Booker then can't be the first Black Spartacus.

Adam Weishaupt, founder of the Bavarian Illuminati, often referred to himself as Spartacus within written correspondences.[50]

In communism

Viva Spartaco, Spartaco a Rosarno: graffiti connecting Spartaco with 2010 Rosarno riots between locals and migrant farm workers In modern times, Spartacus became an icon for communists and socialists.

Karl Marx listed Spartacus as one of his heroes and described him as "the most splendid fellow in the whole of ancient history" and a "great general (though no Garibaldi), noble character, real representative of the ancient proletariat".[51]

Spartacus has been a great inspiration to left-wing revolutionaries, most notably the German Spartacus League (1915–18), a forerunner of the Communist Party of Germany.[52]

A January 1919 uprising by communists in Germany was called the Spartacist uprising.[49] Spartacus Books, one of the longest running collectively-run leftist bookstores in North America, is also named in his honor.

So, is Cory saying he is a commie?

I’d watch him around the young man referred to in para. 1. wait... since credible sexual harassment allegations were never reported in the MSM, it must not have happened.

The dude has an imaginary tough guy friend, so he can have some street cred. T-Bone may be imaginary, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care.
