Heck - had enough folks here with bile about his using tariffs to bring other nations into accord....they are part of the problem...shortsighted and more concerned that their next car might cost $100 more than doing what it takes to make things right....
We have never had “free trade”, state managed trade is the opposite of free trade - the product of Market forces.
Trump has repeatedly reminded us that nations should move towards free trade to maximize economic activity. Tariffs are a POLITICAL tool to move toward free trade like the President says.
