Specifically, Cheney pointed to members of the incoming class of congressional Democrats who may implore likely House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to take up such an agenda.
"We have a lot of Democrats now coming in who are socialists. I'm not exaggerating, they are socialists," Cheney said during a panel on Fox News Sunday. "And I think that it's very important that we actually do have very aggressive and clear policy debates. We've got to make sure that we understand the grave national security threat that's out there, as well as the threat that we're facing from the perspective of our debt.
"And the socialist set of agendas, set of issues, which I think leader Pelosi is probably going to be compelled to have to push forward, are ones that would be disastrous for the nation. So I think we've got to fight and fight hard on those issues."
Cheney will serve as the next chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, the No. 3 leadership position in the GOP minority set to be seated in Congress next year. It is the same position her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, held in 1987 before he was promoted to minority whip a year and a half later.
Cheney, who was first elected to Congress in 2016, will help steer the Republican conference's communications and public relations strategy as its chairwoman in a political environment in which self-proclaimed democratic socialists Sen. I didn’t post this to debate about Rhino’s......things have changed in Washington and I give room to each individual to do what is right. I do not expect 100% adherence to Trumps agenda though that is the hope...with the Dems controlling the House it’s fair to say I support Liz in opposing Pelosi’s socialist agendas.....and we shall see if she does or not.

Well that’s up to the voters.....but in the House we need those who will oppose/debate against Pelosi’s socialist agenda and I will gladly support those who do that when they do.
Well there are those who don’t understand that Washington is in transition and we need badly those who are tough like Liz. Alot here on FR hold grudges and cannot let go of the past sufficient for things to possibly happen that need to.

Whatever Pelosi wants to pass the House will pass the House. It won’t pass the Senate or be signed into law.
Liz’s job is to talk on TV and win the battle for public opinion.

I’m not ready to believe everything the House purposes will be blocked by the Senate. Our deal making Trump gave the distinct impression he would and could work with Pelosi to get things done.....that would indicate a give and take. But as with all else only time will reveal if this rings true...or not.

You’d have to ask the voters that who don’t appear to care one way or the other who vote for them.
The only things Pelosi wants done are bad things, so he’d best have his veto pen ready, and conservative Senators should be ready to filibuster.
