Maybe it is not just about a gas tax. Maybe some of the people are protesting the mass immigration that has destroyed France and turned it into a crap hole.
The up-trend on the gas tax was just the minor player....it was the massive up-trend on the diesel tax (roughly 29 cents a gallon) that did the real trick. Also, France has the highest number of diesel cars in Europe (over 70-percent)....so the majority of people were affected.
Add to it....freight delivery vehicles were mostly all diesel-run as well. So your groceries will be going up as well.
I do agree...ANTIFA got into this but they just like any demonstration...even if it were over peas and carrots.
