What do they mean, ramming thieves off “their” mopeds.I believe the term "thieves" refers to street strong arm robbery (mugging), the moped getaway vehicles may or may not be stolen.

I separated the greater trochanter on my right hip while snow skiing. Got up and nearly got my skis back on, but I couldn’t push my right heel down hard enough to close the binding. Wound up riding the basket down. After about 20 minutes the adrenaline wore off and the pain hit. 4 1/2 months on crutches (waited too long to get a CT scan). I was told it was a vertical fracture, and I could put half my weight on it. The CT scan showed it slipped down about a quarter of an inch and had started healing.

I broke mine at work. Nice clean break across the femoral head. Hurt like a son of a gun. Three screws later and a year of PT. Still couldn’t return to the job. Nice workets comp settlement
