I agree. I mean: I’ll take whatever I can get, but if this is what they plan to spend, they are being wasteful. I support a cheap wall with land mines behind it. The wall can serve as a warning and deterrent. Cheap land mines can send the full message.
You won't get it anyway, but the idea that a minefield of sufficient density to be effective uncovered by fire will be cheap is a pipedream. Don't make the cheapos anymore.
