If American liberals want to help people in Central America, they could think about

(a) renouncing the use of drugs

(b) renouncing socialism which is the other main reason the economies of those countries don’t work

(c) affirming an orderly immigration process

I won’t hold my breath waiting for any of the above.

As to the analogy with the holy family, it’s rather opposite, they were trying to move around in their own country. So apparently Cuomo sees the southwest U.S. as part of Honduras. That’s a new stage, before it was just seen as part of Mexico. /s

I don’t see who is helped by importing a large number of dysfunctional people from failed states anywhere in the world, the better solution is to think of ways of nudging those failed states back into the working society column and then people won’t be so anxious to depart. However, it can’t be all on America’s shoulders to fix the problems of the world, that has been an expectation for too long and if anything, time for countries like Saudi Arabia with all their wealth to offer assistance. We in the Anglo nations of the developed world have done more than our share, and the thanks we get includes gang violence, drugs and terrorism. Thanks a lot.

The problem of corruption in Latin America stems from a broken justice system. Where there is no justice the people suffer.

And that is why Trump needs to release the declassified documents and not use them as a bargaining chip w/ the corrupt Dimmies.
