Nolte: Only Anti-Science Suckers Believe Climate Change Hysteria
Breitbart ^ | John Nolte

Posted on 11/28/2018 5:37:08 AM PST by RoosterRedux

Here is a very simple question for all of you upset over the fact that I do not believe in Climate Change: How many scientific doomsday prophecies do I have to see debunked before I am allowed to be skeptical of the next one?

How many?

Give me a number.

How about if I give you a number: Thirteen. Thirteen, y’all.

I am on the dark side of 52 now, which is not young, but it also isn’t old. And yet, I have lived to see so many media and scientifically-driven end-of-the-world predictions collapse under the weight of reality, I have nearly lost count.

This is how old I am. … Old enough to remember being told that by now…

  1. We would be living through a new Ice Age by the year 2000.
  2. We would all die when the ozone layer disappeared.
  3. The oceans would be dead.
  4. Global Cooling would destroy the world.
  5. Acid rain would destroy our forests.
  6. Overpopulation would result in worldwide famine.
  7. We would deplete our natural resources.
  8. We would run out of oil.
  9. The polar ice caps would melt.
  10. Manhattan would be underwater.
  11. People who live in cities will have to wear gas masks.
  12. Nitrogen buildup will make the land unusable.
  13. “Decaying organic pollutants would use up all of the oxygen in America’s rivers, causing freshwater fish to suffocate.”
And that is just the Big Stuff, the world-shaking predictions the oh-so holy scientific consensus got horribly wrong during my lifetime.

The same people that can’t accurately tell you if it’s going to snow this weekend or not are trying to tell you the weather in 100 years.

Get back to me when you can get it right for a couple weeks first.

I am an uneducated white deplorable, not a scientist, so there’s that.

7500 years ago here in Minnesota the ice was a few miles thick.

It melted....somehow. Yet 7 billion people are still able to live on this planet.

Now we are being told the earth will be uninhabitable if the temperature goes up a degree or two in the next hundred years.

I am heading back to the bunker. Come and get me when it is safe to come out.

I believe the key to debunking the climate change narrative is using the (number of papers written / number of papers found to be scientifically incorrect). This will give us a percentage of papers that are incorrect.

Along with that, I would include the dirtiest cities in the world:

No. 8: Baghdad, Iraq. ...
No. 7: Mumbai, India. ...
No. 6: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. ...
No. 5: Mexico City, Mexico. ...
No. 4: Port au Prince, Haiti. ...
No. 3: Antananarivo, Madagascar. ...
No. 2: Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mercer Health and Sanitation Index Score: 29.6. ...
No. 1: Baku, Azerbaijan. Health and Sanitation Index Score: 27.6.,

and the countries with the worst pollution:

Pakistan - average PM 2.5 concentration: 115.7.
Qatar - 92.4.
Afghanistan - 86.
Bangladesh - 83.3.
Egypt - 73.
UAE - 64.
Mongolia - 61.8.
India - 60.6.

Taking this information, we shouldn’t be looking at fixing climate change. We should be demanding of the UN that these countries are cleaned up and their pollution culture changed from within and if they are not, the US will consider putting tariffs on their products which will be used to clean up our polluted environments.

Do this and climate change will take care of itself.

On Dec 10, all the nations in the world and parties to the global warming treaty will gather in Katowice Poland for the COP 24 conference.

They will try to adopt the rules covering the implementation of the Paris 2015 agreement.

Climate change/global warming is an excuse for libloons to use bigger government to control the masses. Even if it turns out to be true, the best solution is freedom and individualism, where each person is allowed to pursue his own self interest in his own way, and not told what to do by the government.

Man could not destroy the earth if he tried.

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Well, ok, but that is at the very, very, very, very end and the Earth is obviously still here. Also, depends on translation:

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
“And the nations were angry and your anger has come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and you shall give reward to your Servants the Prophets and to The Holy Ones and to those who reverence your name, to the small with the great, and you shall destroy those who have corrupted The Earth.”

All that said, thanks for bringing the Word in. I agree we need to be careful with absolute statements...I think that is your point, yes?

I’m the first to admit that I’m not fluent in ancient Greek, however, Strong’s Bible Dictionary translates the word Destroy in the context of waste, corruption and ruin.

It would be like salting or spreading lime on a field. It makes the field unusable for farming (corruption) but it’s not utter destruction, as the liberals postulate.

They are of the belief that man has such power as to be able to literally destroy and make uninhabitable the earth God created.

Several years ago, there was a very large forest fire in Northern Michigan. It jumped over an interstate highway and burned for many miles on both sides. Some said it destroyed the earth, yet about a month after the fire, I drove past and already green shoots were starting to grow.

There’s no doubt the earth gets damaged, but we cannot destroy it.

Probably the worst example is Hiroshima, yet today, only 790 years later, it’s a thriving metropolis.

As much as we might try, we don’t have the power to utterly destroy what God has created.

Physical destruction vs. spiritual destruction?

Plus, I’m sure worldwide nuclear war would be infinitely more effective than “man-made climate change” could ever hope to be.

Mark Levin played an old George Carlin routine about man’s ridiculous concerns about plastic grocery bags, etc., destroying the planet:

Thanks for your responses and for not flaming me.

I always think of that verse in Revelation when I hear Rush say that it is impossible for man to destroy the earth. I think the verse is actually about spiritually destroying the earth with the corruption of sin. We re seeing lawlessness increasing daily. We know Satan is the ruler of this earth. Between the ruler of this world and the godless unsaved things are coming to an end soon. Maybe the trigger point for the Rapture is that point when we have spiritually destroyed the world and God says "Enough".

I'm sure that Limbaugh is not aware of that verse in revelation but he sure reminds me of it often. Maybe Rush's brother who reads the bible could throw him a hint.

I like science...which is why I don’t get sucked into the ‘climate change’ BS.

So Nolte, you dimwit, what’s ‘anti-science’ even mean?

I’m glad we agree on that one. I’m sometimes very hesitant to share anything scriptural because I know that’s not my strong suit and there are many people far more fluent than I am.

I don’t often revert to the real Greek meaning rather than just English, but that one seemed to scream out for some further review.

In his way, Rush is absolutely correct, we as puny man cannot do anything to utterly destroy the earth, change it’s axis and hurtle it out into space.

“6. Overpopulation would result in worldwide famine.”

In the early 70s, they told us the world would be overpopulated by 2000 and, because of overpopulation, we’d all become cannibals as a result of the worldwide famine.

The schools were nothing more than a forum to spread their BS scare tactics to little kids. This was mental abuse.
