After students at Rider University voted for the fast casual restaurant as their top choice in the spring ... This is why Rider is run by people who wouldn't last ten minutes if they had to operate in a real business environment.

"Ultimately, we decided to lean in the direction of creating a welcoming environment where differences can be appreciated and where each individual can expect to experience dignity and respect," administrators wrote in a letter explaining the decision. "In many ways, this issue is one that goes beyond our decision and touches on a complex conversation taking place throughout the country." More monumental stupidity from an institution of "higher learning." There is no evidence that Chick-Fil-A is "unwelcoming" to anyone - and the administrators at this college are apparently clueless in seeing that their own actions are illustrative of what they falsely accuse Chick-Fil-A of being.

Chick-fil-A is really, really good.Even their nuggets -- made from actual breast meat chunks, not some glued together yuk.

Just put it right outside the campus. Business just might be better.

It's their loss.
Don't be so sure that the boycott will last longer than a week or so.This is college, and students have short attention spans.
Liberals remind me of the "Brogan" from the movie "Epic".

Pull all government funds from the college. Colleges are suppose to be apolitical. Their job is to teach not indoctrinate.

Perhaps Chick-fil-A will put a store a couple of blocks from the school. The students have indicated the desire is there.

Despite its high taxes, nj is one of the worst states for higher education. Yes there is Princeton. There is state school Rutgers which is not big enough for its population
Many students go to surrounding states. NJ pays its students to go to other states rather than putting money into higher ed.

I hope so. I had my first chick in NC. Loved the hush puppies.
I want to eat in a restaurant or fast food or go to a movie and be entertained.
That’s all. Everything doesn’t have to be political.

Rider is in Lawrenceville. Very exclusive. You are not going to find manu fast food chains welcomed or allowed certainly not drive thru. Probably why they wanted it on campus.

These small minded academics are using Chick-fil-A as a practice ground for how far they can go to control people based on unadjudicated perceptions. The Left wants a lawless rule over people.,

We have a Chick-fil-A in our town and you should see the drive-through traffic. Day and night there are at least 10 cars line up. Inside, people are line up. Compared to the other fast foods, there is no contest. The quality of their product in incomparable. It must come from the culture of their owners: a strong moral compass.
