Facepalm: Ocasio-Cortez Attempts to Connect The Holocaust To The Caravan (Again)
Townhall.com ^ | November 26, 2018 | Beth Bauman

Posted on 11/26/2018 7:44:39 PM PST by Kaslin

The Twitter feud between Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) continues.

On Sunday, Ocasio-Cortez attempted to compare the Central American caravan's riders to Jews fleeing from Nazi Germany.

Asking to be considered a refugee & applying for status isn’t a crime.

It wasn’t for Jewish families fleeing Germany.
It wasn’t for targeted families fleeing Rwanda.
It wasn’t for communities fleeing war-torn Syria.
And it isn’t for those fleeing violence in Central America. https://t.co/qhv7Rr1itn— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@Ocasio2018) November 25, 2018

It wasn't long before Sen. Lindsey Graham chimed in and suggested Ocasio-Cortez learn more about the Holocaust.

I recommend she take a tour of the Holocaust Museum in DC.

Might help her better understand the differences between the Holocaust and the caravan in Tijuana. https://t.co/05vCexiClE— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) November 26, 2018

Of course, Ocasio-Cortez had to spin what he said so it fit her narrative.

.@LindseyGrahamSC, the point of such a treasured museum is to bring its lessons to present day.

This administration has jailed children and violated human rights. Perhaps we should stop pretending that authoritarianism + violence is a historical event instead of a growing force. https://t.co/aGJMrPTqNT— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@Ocasio2018) November 27, 2018

It seems as though no matter how many times you tell her the two are apples and oranges, she's going to do whatever she can to make the two comparable.

Say it with us, Alexandria: They. Are. Not. The. Same. Thing.

Drudge has a story about a woman who was refused a heart transplant. Her hospital told her to fundraise for it.

Occasional-Consciousness decided to share a tweet about it but thought the hospital was an insurance company.

She’s going to be a comedy factory.

Clearly, she is asking for crippling economic sanctions against those horrible Central American regimes who are committing a holocaust against — uh — against Hispanic people. Maybe even global war is the logical and inevitable reaction to such evil.

Someone is transporting the hoax Caravan people. Do the math for how far it takes to walk in one day, and then how far it is from Hondouras to the U.S. and you’ll understand immediately that this is a paid for operation.

It also explains all the weirdly posed photoshopped photos and altered videos of the early days of the hoax Caravan.

Does someone what to tell this dumb ass that the great Democrat Hero FDR refused to let Jews into this country even though they would be killed in Germany? The movie “Ship of Fools” was just on TV - it showed how the Dems turned their back on Jewish refugees before WWII started.

“nearly 11,000 refugees admitted by mid-September, only 56 were Christian.”

Federal Judge Asks Why Obama Administration Isn’t Admitting Christian Syrian Refugees
The Daily Signal ^ | October 27, 2016 | Hans von Spakovsky

However, in a spirited concurrence written by Judge Daniel Manion, the judge expressed his “concern about the apparent lack of Syrian Christians as a part of immigrants from that country.” According to Manion, it is “well-documented” that the refugees are not representative of that “war-torn area of the world.” Ten percent of the Syrian population is Christian and “yet less than one-half of one percent of Syrian refugees admitted to the United States this year are Christian.”

Obama set a goal of resettling 10,000 Syrian refugees in the U.S. and by August that goal had already been exceeded. But of the “nearly 11,000 refugees admitted by mid-September, only 56 were Christian.”

Yet Christian Syrians have been one of the primary targets of the Islamic Jihadists infesting Syria and butchering, murdering, and killing civilians. ISIS has made it clear that it is going after Christians because it intends to “conquer Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women.” Thus, one would expect that Christian Syrians would represent a significant portion of the Syrians being accepted into the U.S. as refugees. But that hasn’t been the case and according to Manion, the Obama administration has no “good explanation for this perplexing discrepancy.” Thus, we “remain in the dark as a humanitarian catastrophe continues.”

Obama set to deport 12 Iraqi Christian refugees
WND ^ | 9-17-2015 | Leo Hohmann
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3338119/posts

Detained for 6 months while criminal illegals allowed to stay. More than half of the 27 Iraqi Christians the Obama administration has been holding for the past six months at an ICE detention center in Otay Mesa, California, are set to be deported in coming weeks.

...

Iraq is home to one of the most ancient Christian communities, evangelized by the Apostle Thomas not long after the time of Jesus.

...

Many of Iraq’s historic churches, some dating back to the second and third century after Christ, have been destroyed or converted to mosques. Others sit empty.

Thousands of Chaldeans have fled Iraq, escaping fierce persecution at the hands of terrorists fighting for the Islamic State... Many of their men who refuse to convert to Islam have been beheaded or otherwise killed while their wives and daughters have been sold into sex slavery. Tens of thousands have been forced out of their homes and live in hiding, afraid to even show up at United Nations’ refugee camps, where they often find themselves the victims of further abuse by Muslims.

...

persecuted Christians in Syria and Iraq are fearful of the refugee camps. Rather than seek refuge there, they are hiding in churches and in the homes of other Christians.

...

Chaldean families have held regular demonstrations in support of the 27 detainees, the majority of whom have family who are U.S. citizens, but on Monday they were told by government officials they’d better not comment on the issue.

...

Obama’s Justice Department has also gone after the nation’s most successful Chaldean Christian immigration attorney, Robert Dekelaita, 52, of Glenview, Illinois.

...

age-old jihadist ultimatum: Convert to Islam, pay the Islamic head-tax for a dubious “protection” or die.

Wait, early this year the Left was saying that Trump was using Obama’s detention centers as concentration camps.

So isn’t it more harmful for them to come into the United States?

Cortez is so stupid that they had to add another page to the dictionary just to put her in the word “stupid” explanation.

Puerto Rico and New York keep breeding the dumbest of the dumb. No wonder, they are both run and ruined by Democrats. They do more damage than the worst hurricane.

You can rebuilt a home, a city, and infrastructure but it is hard to rebuild a mind once the libs get ahold of it.

OK...let’s put all of the illegal alien
invaders in death camps. We can gas them,
starve them, freeze them, take away all
semblance of who they are, and what they
believe in as their god. Sorry
Ms Dimwit, we haven’t even come close,
nor would we hope to. It boggles the
mind that those in your district
elected you into office.
