They told the migrants, they will fill out all the paperwork, get them into the US and they would be granted asylum.
Towns Without Borders also provides transportation to the border.
Once the migrants gets to the border, Towns Without Borders abandons the migrants without food, without shelter, without a way back home.
That’s why the Mexicans are so pissed because they are left with the mess.
Towns Without Borders along with LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) and Dems, on the US side, are trying to create a humanitarian disaster.

And yet, what they seem to be doing is giving the Mexican folks a taste of what WE’VE been dealing with, creating sympathy between Mexico and US, and an understanding that they will pay for the wall because it really is their problem, not ours, as long as we don’t let them in. Hell we even have a camp ready for the ones that get through but this is better.

The Mexicans that work on my southern cal job site also agree with virtually all of the other replies as well. We have talked about this stuff for years. Most of them are smart, hardworking guys who were not for my President until this event lifted the veil of scullduggery promoted by Univision and Telemundo.

A humanitarian disaster is what we have on our hands already. My prediction was that this would occur in the middle of Mexico but they changed their route to get to Tijuana so it will happen there.
