Now that #MeToo has made heroines out of women accusing powerful men of sexual abuse, Monica Lewinsky is providing her side of the story of the encounters that led to Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Had Hillary Clinton won the presidency, the same array of forces that circled the first Clinton White House to dismiss her as one of the “nuts and sluts” (hat tip: James Carville, who is all but invisible in the media) would be suppressing her story. But now that Hillary is a loser and embarrassment, and Bill old, feeble, and evoking shame among those Dems that are capable of that emotion, the former intern has a platform and an audience.

Remember back a few weeks ago when Lewinsky walked out of some foreign interview because the guy dared to aske a question about her saga with Bill Clinton? Recall her indignant response was that she wanted to move on in her life for only being known for that.

And yet, here we are, the last few weeks Lewinsky has been in the news cashing in on her infamous relationship with Clinton. So which is it? She wants to move on, or she wants to keep the golden goose alive forevermore?

Simply by chance Monica and George Stepanopholous had similar morning routines, many mornings crossed paths at the same Starbucks.

When the Monica story first started breaking, Hillary and the Bimbo Eruptions Unit figured they could USE that:

They decided to say Monica had a pattern of getting crushes on guys, then following them around and stalking them a bit.

They would say the claims about what she’d allegedly been doing with Bill FIT into that larger pattern:

They pow-wowed with George S., who then was known around town as quite the bacherlor catch, and they secured his cooperation with this story.

She was not a stupid, innocent young woman! I would believe that most interns would likely need to be quite bright to get such a job. Either Monica was a little naive about BJ Klintoon, or else (much more likely IMO) she thought that by giving head, she could get ahead. To some, power is an aphrodisiac!

She was in any event, naive that BJ and Hellary would not do any and everything to maintain their power and keep their secrets well hidden. Monica was bright enough to know that discretion, including perjury, is a way to survive past 25 YoA, in the Klintoon White Brothel.

Given that she was 22 when she started her trysts with BJ Klintoon, as parents, they could do nothing about it. That said, in such a situation, I would choose to have nothing to do with that festering, syphilitic pustule, BJ Klintoon, but then again I try to adhere to Judeo-Christian values. BJ and Hellary? Not so much, IMO!

STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE----Prominent attorney David Schippers became a public figure when a friend of his, Congressman Henry Hyde, asked him to be the Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee. Schippers was a lifelong Democrat but accepted and took the job in April 1998.

The Hyde Committee was holding an inquiry on whether President Bill Clinton had committed impeachable offences in his handling of the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit..... during which he committed perjury regarding his affair with then-White House Intern Monica Lewinsky. After an investigation, the committee in December 1998 voted to impeach Clinton, a decision supported by Schippers.

On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee: "The President, then, has lied under oath in a civil deposition, lied under oath in a criminal grand jury. He lied to the people, he lied to his Cabinet, he lied to his top aides, and now he's lied under oath to the Congress of the United States. There's no one left to lie to."

Personally, I feel sorry for Monica. She was young and star-struck and then dumped and debased. And has never married, because mostly Which young man would bring Monica home “to meet mother”. The Clinton affair ruined her life, and at the time Clinton was a “hero”. Now that everyone knows he’s the biggest sleaze on the planet, that doesn’t even give her bragging rights. Hey, at least she’ll probably make a few history books. I’m still on silly Monica’s side...she was young for her age.
