John Allen Chau, the American missionary who was killed by an isolated tribe on a remote Indian island, reportedly wrote in his journal hours before his death, “God, I don’t want to die.”
Chau, 26, of Vancouver, Wash., chronicled his last days while traveling to the Andaman Islands. He was intent on making contact with the Sentinelese tribe on North Sentinel Island, according to his journals shared by his mother with The Washington Post.
“You guys might think I’m crazy in all this but I think it’s worthwhile to declare Jesus to these people,” he wrote in a last note to his family on Nov. 16, shortly before he left the safety of the fishing boat to meet the tribesmen on the island. “God, I don’t want to die.”
The tribesmen, who stand about 5-feet-5-inches tall with yellow paste on their faces, reacted angrily to Chau’s presence, he wrote, as he attempted to speak their language and sing worship songs.

How tall are they with some other color of paste, or with no paste?

So what’s the verdict, courageous Christian? Or self righteous idiot? Or just good intentioned idiot?
Many missionaries have been martyred over the centuries to spread The Gospel. SOMEbody needs to bring The Truth to them.
Sometimes the infidel doesn’t want to hear the word.
Why not be a missionary trying to defuse the brains of all the heathens overflowing into western culture and ruining it.

It was world famous by being hostile —LETHALLY hostile— to outsiders.
Basically a tropical North Korea, but w/o infrastructure or central government.
You’d have to have a death wish to go to that place.

Yep, the world is coming to us, for better or worse, making the USA the ultimate mission field.
And today, secular American universities are racing to the island to offer that kid an Archery Scholarship.
Probably about 5 foot tall. The yellow paste makes them larger.
