Representative-elect Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in Washington. Not only does he have stellar comedic timing, as we saw on "Saturday Night Live," but he can calmly defend the conservative agenda even when faced by a panel of liberal opponents.
Crenshaw showed off his impressive debate skills on this weekend's "Face the Nation." His fellow panelists repeated the talking point that President Trump is undermining democracy with his attacks on the media, particularly CNN. For the second time in two weeks, the White House is revoking Jim Acosta's hard pass, noting his disruptive behavior at a recent press conference.
It's an interesting point, Crenshaw noted. But he wanted examples that prove Trump was putting democracy at risk. If that's true, what about that election we just had?

Exactically, yet Obama acted like the Media was hostile to him. What a head fake.
A guest said Trump is “undermining democracy.” “Some of our democratic freedoms and the principles that we live by have been under attack.”
A good example would have been the principle of being innocent until proven guilty. But it wasn’t President Trump who undermined that one, was it?
Obama was just upset that the commie media did not literally wipe his own fanny..he would have preferred that

Perhaps Dan should be invited to the press correspondent’s dinner to roast the press for an hour or two. Get Diamond ans Silk there, and Steyn, and a host of conservatives not from the big corporate media.
Have a monologue that emphasizes the principle that any American is just as much the press as the yahoos from the New York Times or the American Broadcasting Company.
That is one of the best responses ever.
I wonder if any of them had the decency to feel small and petty when he pointed that out, but I doubt any have the self awareness needed.
