Brenda Snipes Resigns After Recount Debacle
Hot Air ^ | 19 Nov 2018 | Jazz Shaw

You supposedly won’t have Brenda Snipes to kick around anymore. The subject of one of the more famous “Florida Woman” stories of late is reported to have resigned her position as Broward County Election Supervisor, taking effect in January. After numerous, spectacular failures in processing election results over the years, Saturday’s debacle of submitting their recount results two minutes after the deadline had passed was apparently a bridge too far and Ms. Snipes is stepping down. (Washington Times)

Taking a page from the playbook of disgraced public officials around the country, Snipes reportedly wants to “spend more time with her family” and listed that as the reason for her departure in her resignation letter. Questions still remain concerning roughly 2,000 ballots that were somehow “lost” when the machine recount was underway. Other observers (and protesters) claimed that she may have missed the Saturday deadline intentionally because the Democrats had wound up losing votes in Broward County rather than gaining them. The truth of those situations may never be known.

I wonder what voting fraud consultants make per year?

“A man with one watch knows what time it is. . .a man with two watches is never sure.”

That said, the US Naval Observatory Master Clock is the official time-keeper world-wide. Official government time should be cued to that signal.

Why is there no criminal investigation of this woman? Clearly, crimes have been committed......

Is she quitting because she fears prosecution?

I don’t see why she couldn’t or shouldn’t be prosecuted if out of office. I know that it works for Hillary for some perverted type of rationalization, but Hillary is ... you know ... special. A crime is a crime; just leaving office shouldn’t absolve a person for all crimes committed while in office.

Should we check Snopes, to see if they say that this is an accurate story?

Republicans vote on Tuesday.

Democrats vote on Wednesday...and call it a “recount.”

I don’t get this. How can the state refuse to accept the results, after Democrats yelling at us that “every vote must be counted.” Here’s a case where the votes WERE counted and then - ta da! - magically not reported on time. So do Rick Scott lose those votes, or were they included in the hand recount?

Anybody know?

Snipes should not be allowed to resign with pension intact.

In her resignation letter, Broward SOE Brenda Snipes, who is 75, expressed a desire to “spend more time with her family.” (cue hysterical laughter machine here)

The “family bit” is code for “she’s fleeing Broward County as quickly as possible in order to say one step ahead of the Fla Dept of Law Enforcement.”

An investigation into all of her election frauds and machinations has begun. Her grandkids aren’t going to be seeing a whole lot of MeeMaw in the near future.

AND GET THIS-—Snipes is already already collecting a pension ......she was once a (gag) teacher, retired as a school principal. (Why Johnny and Jane can’t read).

Snipes is a disgrace to the human race. ....and a human parasite. She’s quitting while she can still cash in.

I read here she collects a $200,000 tax-paid salary (plus all she can steal) for this job.

IN ADDITION This idiot collects a $4500 monthly teacher’s pension (she’s a retired school principal-—that’s why Johnny and Jane can’t ready).

So she’ll collect TWO tax paid pensions (two that we know of).

God knows how much this parasite stashed offshore in numbered accounts.

God knows how many official gov documents the cunning Snipes falsified to get herself these humongous pensions.
