Draft versions of the communique seen by The Associated Press showed that the United States wanted strong language condemning unfair trade practices like those that it says China regularly deploys, including restricting market access and pushing foreign companies to hand over valuable technology.

The Chinese delegation sought to reaffirm its opposition to what it says are protectionism and unilateralism practices by the United States, especially the American trade tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of Chinese goods.

IMHO most comments and articles about the world worrying are Chinese inspired propaganda.

It is in the strategic national interest of China to see DJT lose in 2020. I wonder what they see their options are?

“China is BADLY taking advantage of America.

Badly. Our trade deficit with China is the largest in all recorded history. Ever. Between ANY two countries.”

I respectfully disagree. US policies enabled the genesis and everything that’s followed is a natural progression. I fault every president since Truman for kicking the can and, in the case of a handful of presidents, making it an order of magnitude worse.

The US has underwritten raising the standard of living of over a billion people overseas, including hundreds of millions of Chinese...all on the backs of our grandchildren.

I never authorized a red penny. A “correction” is long overdue. It will be much, much more painful later than just getting it over with now. This trade BS is all bluster; let’s talk about banking and those who control the purse-strings...

...THAT discussion will turn some people white, ironically.

But no: Let’s argue about tariffs and decades-old defective trade policy for the next 2 years.

China offers a haven for an American manufacturer. Our government subsidizes the moving of the plants to China. The business then uses slave labor to build the same product there, as they would here, and without taxes, unemployment, labor laws, and insurance costs. We then allow the product to be shipped here duty free. THIS is what passes for a free market to the majority of Congresscritters, and the MSM. Feinswine, Pelowsi, and the Clintons made their fortunes selling America out to the Red Chinese.

We finally have a President who says “bleep this bleep”, and he deserves every chance to straighten this out FOR AMERICAN WORKERS.
