This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

and into His courts with praise;
be thankful unto Him,
and bless His Name.

Precious Lord, we bless You and glorify Your Holy and Awesome Name; for You alone are worthy of all honor, glory, praise, and blessing. We do not forget the benefits we have in You because of the finished work of Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary. We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and we come into Your courts with praise. Father, we are thankful unto You and we bless Your Name; for You are good, Lord God, and Your mercy endures forever. May Your Name be praised and honored both now and evermore.

Lord, even with all the shortcomings of our nation and the divisive and destructive events of the past and present, we are still a very blessed people. We thank You, Father, as we come together with family and friends across America this week to remember all the blessings that You shower upon us. Help us to keep the spirit of thankfulness every day of every year, Lord; for a grateful heart is pleasing to You.

Father, we seek Your wisdom for our nation’s leaders. Help them to be united in their love for You and in their desire to be a blessing to this nation. We know that You are the source of all truth, and we ask You to give President Trump and Vice-President Pence Your guidance and discernment as they continue to do the work You have set before them. Give them strength and courage for each new day as You fill them with creative energy. We pray also for their protection, Your covering over their families, and for peace in their hearts. Thank You, Lord, that Your favor rests upon these men and You bless the work of their hands.

Lord, we ask You to help America to always befriend and defend Israel. May we choose to bless her and keep this beautiful nation in our prayers. Father. May Your shield cover all the persecuted Church as the times grow more dangerous for Christians everywhere. We confess that You take care of Your own as You have promised.

Father, let our meditations of You be sweet as we think about all that You have done through Your Son, our Savior. Let us be glad and rejoice in You Lord, for we know that You have won the victory for us. May we take all the limits off You, Lord, and pray huge prayers for our nation to repent and return to You. Help us to end our divisiveness and to come into the center of Your will where there is peace and purpose. We pray this in faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
