McSally seems to be the classic Rinocon. She went out of her way to insult movement conservatives, refused any interviews on Conservative site and ran a weak campaign mostly generic with lots of pictures of her in her flight suit but little real information on her actually pretty impressive combat record. The GOP has been like this since at least Dewey in ‘48. “No controversial stances. We don't want to scare the voters blah blah. McSally did herself in and a lot of furious Arizona conservatives after putting up with the open mendacity and arrogance McLame visited their revenge on someone they saw as a female McNutt replacement by leaving the Senate ballot blank.
