Hi gals!
Thanks so much for your concern!
For once, I didn’t have to be anywhere during the storm,
so Mr B and I just stayed in, fired up the kitchen wood cook stove, and stayed warm and dry!

The roads in Maine can be and are treacherous in winter!
We got six inches of snow dumped on us last night.
We will be digging out tomorrow, as Mr B has been ill
for a few days with a really bad cold.

Time for Fire Medicine soup!

Glad you didn’t have to get out in that mess. I’ve seen several reports on tv and it was might nasty up there.
Sorry to hear Mr B is sick. Hope your Fire Medicine soup gets him back on track real soon!

I’m so relieved that you can be at home during this really bad storm; hope that Mr B will be better soon. That fire medicine soup sounds pretty powerful!

Hi again!
Fire medicine soup is simply my home made chicken soup, with hot peppers added to it.
It can be jalapenos or cayenne, or Thai hot stuff.
I put chicken, celery garlic, onions and carrots in it.
I also add wide egg noddles.
I also add a can of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies.
It’s pretty simple!

We nicknamed it “Fire Medicine Soup”
One time a co worker of Mr B’s called me and said he would PAY me to make a pot of it for him, so I did!

Whew! makes me sweat to think about it. LOL! I can’t eat “hot” stuff.
Must be the heat makes one sweat the “bug” out. :-)

Sounds tasty except for the heat though. Yum!
