Elect/appoint Kelly Ward.
No retreads, her time has passed.
Why?
Why would any competent GOP governor appoint a Senator who just lost a Senate election?
nobody wants her now. find someone else.
Nope, she’d just lose the seat in two years without a fight. Exit Left McSally. If you want to be a Senator call out the fraud.
No thank you.
No need for her or anyone like her.
She conceded. I’d prefer a fighter-pun intended.
Do you really want somebody who it even was close with Sinema, much less lose to her?
She’s a failure, move on.
She looks like Duane Allman in drag.
Arizona needs a Conservative. Not another McQueeg-Flake phony.
Kelli Ward not this RINO!
What is she, a mouse?
I would say that "more than one million Arizona voters" wanted Sinema to lose. It just so happened that the republican nominee was McSally.
You miss the point: Arizona voters don’t want her. Spare me the conspiracy theories about vote theft unless you can PROVE IT. The fact is, Arizona has NEVER been solidly red, just look at the long and sad legacy of John McTurd and how many times it’s been asked on FR “Why do Arizonans keep re-electing him?”.
The answer is, Arizona is OK with moderates for sure, and doesn’t mind the occasional liberal either. McSally knew this and gambled and lost, that’s why she refused to go on Levin’s show and align herself more fully with Trump and conservative positions.
People need to accept the reality that many states are a lot bluer or more purplish now than they’d like to think. Trump won by appealling to many of them, but far too few Congressional candidates realize that, and NONE are anywhere near having a Trump-like presence.
That’s the lesson that our side needs to learn. Quickly.
Oh great, then there would be two libs in the senate from AZ
Ducey should go with Andy Biggs or David Schweikert - both just won re-election to the House with relative ease and should be easy to replace in special elections.
Are there any better conservatives in Arizona besides McSally? She could not even beat a code pinko in a conservative state. How about a conservative that can win and keep winning?
