Lets see how the rich folks in Hollywood and the rich Bay Area IT folks like the taxes now.
Maybe theyll move to another state.
San Francisco has maps of how to avoid areas of human excrement.
Governor Brown was a Catholic Priest. I believed in him in the 1970s. Too bad he left his Faith. Hes getting old now. Wonder what he plans to tell his Creator.
He wasted his life. Could have been different.
I guarantee there will be a ton of infighting....
Solution: More Immigration!
Accelerating our descent into progressive hell.
I’m only surprised that they didn’t already have a supermajority.
I just wish the large minority of normals in CA would all pull up stakes to fortify salvageable states that need the help like AZ, NV and CO instead of all the transplanted leftists who haven’t figured out what caused them to move. There is no hope for California, so you might as well move.
Went to the most expensive place on earth, Disneyland, this weekend with my family and good buddy. We decided To Hit up Dunkin Donuts about 5 miles south of d-land yesterday morning. I felt like I was in Ensenada Mexico. It is a completely different world. We are being invaded. We are losing our ****** country and it feels like there isnt a damn thing we little folk can do about it.
Yep.
I’m 62. I can easily remember when CA was where it was ALL at... Governor Reagan...Beach Boys...pristine Rose Bowl Parades...and either USC, Stanford or UCLA would play the Big Ten champ. There was no FBS bull-poop mucking up tradition. I will pin a reference year for us old nostalgic farts: 1968
“We think the fraud in Florida and Georgia are bad, if someone ever bothered to look under the covers in CA they would be shocked!”
Yup. Once the rats take over, the fraud becomes ‘normalized’. You don’t hear about it at all...
Single Party State rule continues, so when things go wrong, obviously it's the fault of Republican sexists and racists. Oh, and the 2nd Amendment, global warming, and eating meat.
I’m outta here as soon as I retire. Taxes are already too high and will soon skyrocket. As Thatcher said (paraphrased), socialism only works until you run out of other people’s money. Thanks to silicon valley they will not run out anytime soon, which portends further pain for the average joe.
As if the smattering of Republicans mattered before?
So, now the democrats will have an even more free hand to tax the state into bankruptcy and curtail citizen rights..
Great fun to watch, though it pisses me off to see the depths the state I was born in has descended to.
I know, the usual "We are about to turn it around" suspects will continue to try and pretend the state is not beyond repair..........
I’ve read here on FR that there are about 5 million Republicans in Calif.
Remember the voters going back at it again? I do not either.
Jerry Brown was/is a Jesuit.

Californias upper middle class and up are already in for a real shock come April 15Th because of SALT. Just wait until they see what this legislature is going to do to them.
Doesn’t matter, everything they sen to Gavin will get signed.
California - whee I grew up - and it was wonderful.
So then we had amnesty..then we had “oh they’re just trying to do jobs Americans won’t do”...then we had “sanctuary cities” and now we have “caravans of people looking for a better life” (paid for by you and me) all this with the purpose of getting what they got - a total left state.
How does a middle class person survive in CA?
One by one the states turn left. Trump gave us a temporary victory and if immigration isn’t changed that’s exactly what it will be - temporary.
Just heading faster to shitehole status.Good job loonies, good job.
Looney tunes out here
Who cares ? Is what I say
