People who before legalization had the good sense to not use marijuana because it was illegal will not after legalization have the bad sense to do massive quantities several times a day everyday.

no, its as simple as this: people who want to smoke pot need to stop siphoning off enough votes from the republican so that a LIBERAL gets sent to congress. What makes you think that's happening? This isn't a liberal/conservative thing. There are plenty of conservatives who support legalization, including conservative lawmakers. Besides this has mostly been happening by initiatives, not politicians anyway. Time for pols to listen to the voters.
