SYDNEY -- Police shot a knife-wielding man Friday after he fatally stabbed one person and injured two others in the center of Australia's second-largest city. Police were investigating the incident in Melbourne as suspected terrorism, and they were re-evaluating security plans for upcoming public events. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) issued a statement claiming responsibility later on Friday.
The incident, which brought central Melbourne to a standstill in the late afternoon rush, came after police responded to reports of a burning vehicle.
Officers were confronted near the burning car by a man "brandishing a knife and threatening them" while passers-by called out that people had been stabbed, Victoria state police Superintendent David Clayton said. One of the stabbed people was dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital.

If ISIS claims responsibility, are the cops still trying to figure out what the motive is?

Outlawing Islam is the only way these things will ever stop happening and of course that will never be, so as long as there’s Islam these will continue.
As I’ve said before...Islam itself is the problem. As long as people dive into that darkness, especially the weak minded, mentally unstable and easily led, these attacks and more will continue and likely increase as the muslim population increases and their Islamification of this nation grows and is accepted.

I don’t know a ton about Australia, but I agree. They would have to outlaw Islam. They will outlaw Christianity first. In fact, in some ways, they already have. Try refusing to bake a cake for some misfit. These are baby steps, testing the waters. It might accelerate.
In other ways, Islam is the unofficial, defacto chosen state religion of the US government. It might accelerate too.
Australia does pretty well in keeping these folks in line.....but really it only takes one of them in the depths of Islam to get fired up to do this stuff. And now there’s so many throughout the world with enough political backing they are more brazen and forward because they know they will be seen favorably for their actions.
Islam is such a vile ideology....strips people of their God given personalities at a very tender age and they never develop naturally for that. Why so many have mental issues as well.
Like in most countries while a small minority they seem harmless even timid but seemingly once they are of a decent percentage they seem to want to take over. I know individual Muslims who seem quite genuine in one on one conversation but the all seem to have a strong aggressive bent towards Jews. Nice or not that just won’t do and neither will trying to change our Judeo Christian heritage. No wonder the left embraces these people. They have so much in common

Interesting how this has received almost no media play in the USA. Clearly doesn’t fit within MSM agenda.
