They NEVER liked it, as it impedes their ability to obtain power and, once they get some, to freely exercise it. IOW, these are a bunch of wannabbee and actual TYRANTS. They are as anti-American in this outlook as Stalin, Hitler or Mao...and only now are stupid enough to make that obvious to the entire country. That’s why Trump got elected and Queen Shrillary got a grapefruit shoved into her face.

So-called “Progressives” are nothing more or less than the more the “kinder and gentler” version of Communism. Every single position that they have EVER taken is either right out of Marx’s or Lenin’s playbook, or a slightly modified, more palatable policy that is fully intended to be a temporary way-station on the road to full Communism.

These people are every bit as evil, and lustful for power, as the Moslems. They are more dangerous because they are less in your face (or “off with your head”) about it.

Ever since Constitution-ignoring FDR established a state sovereignty-ignoring Supreme Court justice majority, post-17th Amendment ratification Democratic and RINO senators have been doing the following imo.

Evidenced by their sorry treatment of Kavanaugh in the Senate confirmation process, Democrats and RINOs fight tooth-and nail to preserve the state power-ignoring justice majority.

They do this so that the Supremes can declare the unconstitutional, vote-winning social spending programs and politically correct civil rights that Dems and RINOs establish to be constitutional.

In other words, Democrats and RINOs promote government control of the people through judicial tyranny, not a constitutionally limited power federal government that serves freedom-loving people.

The remedy to get rid of unconstitutionally big federal government ...

Patriots need to support Pres. Trump in leading the states to repeal the 17th Amendment, the “broomstick of the wicked witch.”

The 16th Amendment needs to disappear too.

I’m losing faith in the Electorate when the far left Socialist Candidates fielded by the Democrats are garnering half the Vote, especially in a period of Economic strength.

Maybe pure unadulterated hatred is a bigger motivator than I imagined.

Democrats Aren't Losing Faith in Our Constitutional System...they're just ignorant of it - they fail to understand the basic holding of the Constitution - that to allow many people with different beliefs and values to live relatively peacefully and safely together, a system of governance was established allowing all to vote to select representatives who would resolve whatever conflicts existed and meld the interests of all as best possible. Democrats simply will not live by that system and when they are not able to influence the system enough to get what they want, they disrupt it for all - they are two years-olds who don't have the understanding or character to ever grow up....

What are they going to do about it? AFAIK, there is not serious effort to amend the Constitution. They are going to remain frustrated by this for a long time.
