Hey, Imp. I’m still here reading and absorbing. Moved to some other interests in my life, so don’t follow politics as closely as before. I appreciate all that you and other informed folks contribute to the dialogue.
Quite disappointed in the election. This was the GOP’s best chance in a long time to make headway in the Senate and looks like, at best, there will only be two pickups. To me, that seems like a loss. I don’t think our candidates were that bad, except maybe Morrissey. Payback for 2016 may have been a contributing factor.
It doesn’t seem as if Kavanaugh helped the GOP much. It may have energized voters on both sides, so ended up being a wash. We’ll have to see what post election analysis shows as to voters’ primary issues. Appears like health care was higher on the radar screen than we thought (for both Dem and GOP voters-for different reasons).
