Any ethical attorney who gives you a free consultation will tell you three things: is your case winnable, if you go ahead and lose can you afford the fees and can you afford his fees if he takes it and wins.
If you dont get that advice, that attorney should be disbarred. Michael Avenatti is a joke of a bad lawyer.
He should also be disbarred for advancing the Swetnick fraud. The problem is that he is a California lawyer and I don't have a lot of confidence that the California State Bar would do the right thing in light of his exalted status as a Trump-attacking lib.
