[history]
Brett Kavanaugh formally took his seat as the 114th justice at the traditional investiture ceremony at the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday morning. There was, however, a difference in the way the event was handled. The court said that because of security concerns, Kavanaugh would not walk down the court's long outside staircase with the chief justice.

SCOTUS will very likely be totally satisfactory to me for the rest of my lifetime.

That’s a wonderful picture. I’m sorry that Justice Ginsburg is not in it so it would be the entire Supreme Court.

Garland, who is chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., sat with other judges from his court and stared straight ahead during the hubbub. Ha, ha, I hope someone got a pic of that! Ought to be a classic!

SCOTUS will very likely be totally satisfactory to me for the rest of my lifetime. Unless the rest of your lifetime is not very long, I wouldn't be saying that. If it can happen to Scalia, it can happen to anyone on the SCOTUS.

Kagan and Sotomayor both have wider stances than any of the men.

OK, fair enough point.
My hope is that the SCOTUS of today plus any new judges appointed over the next few years do well.

If (God forbid) Dems ever get majorities in House and Senate and POTUS, they WILL expand SCOTUS to 15 seats and pack it. Take that to the bank.

Heightened security all because of the hateful demonrats. Wasting our tax dollars and sending their people out to terrorize conservatives.
Last night, FOX’s Tucker Carlson’s house was nearly broken into by Anti-First Amendmenters (ANTIFA). Yelled and beat on his door until it cracked and scared the living daylights out of his wife. Thankfully, their kids weren’t home. It’s long past time to start prosecuting them and lay it all on the DNC.
