Snoop Dogg is calling Colin Kaepernick a hypocrite for protesting civil rights injustices in the United States while offering praise for the late Communist dictator Fidel Castro.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback made waves last week after he praised Cubas education system while slamming Americas incarceration rate and the genocide of Native Americans. He later clarified that he does not condone the oppressive things Castro did before his death.
Snoop said Wednesday on Fox Sports Undisputed that Mr. Kaepernick shouldnt speak on topics he doesnt fully understand.
Hes sort of kind of hypocritical in so many words because hes pushing this, but at the same time hes giving credit for this and this is the same abuse that [Cubans have] been taking, he said.
The rapper was referring to Mr. Kaepernicks protest of kneeling during the national anthem in an effort to shed a light on police brutality and racial injustice in America. Snoop said he sympathized with the NFLers cause but said he thinks he should choose between playing football full time and being a revolutionary. ...
