In also in Broward. The system is antique. No confirmation receipt after scanning.

“Gov. Scott actually tried cleaning up voter rolls and was quickly labeled a racist.”

That’s the problem with GOPs now. The fear of being called a racist is more powerful than insisting on doing the right thing.

And I don’t think this current issue has anything to do with the voter rolls, so it wouldn’t have mattered. This is blatant ballot manipulation.

The secretary of state by law requires a recount if the difference between candidates is .5%. When that machine recount is done, if the difference is .25%, a hand recount must be done. The candidate does not request a recount. A candidate can request that a recount not be done though.

With about 8 million votes cast, a machine recount will be required with a difference in votes of 40+k votes.

After all that comes the legal challenges I guess. These changes were put in place to avoid the 2000 disaster coming back again. The dems, unless they actually post election stuff the ballot box will still lose here. If not, there should be a civil disturbance.

I truly believe Montana was stolen too with fraudulent votes!!

Montana was stolen at the outset when the Club of Growth beat the hell out of the homegrown primary candidates who were running against Matt Rosendale.

Rosendale came from Baltimore, bought a big piece of land and called himself a rancher, though it was adjudged that he'd never owned a cow.

He is a decent man but not an appealing candidate and the conservatives remaining in the state resent a rich carpetbagger almost as much as they do a lying fat slob already on the government teat.

After all, "at least he's FROM here."

Bondi is the attorney General who plays no role in this. It is the Secretary of State who was appointed by Scott. Hopefully not another Sessions type.

DeSantis will be governor, Scott senator and Nelson will become a footnote in Florida senatorial history. Gillum may become a political mosquito to Florida Republicans or just fade into history as another, in the long line, of failed political candidates. Depends if the big money backing him remains or moves on to the next big thing.

You see this?

From the article:

Mr. Elias was one of the lead attorneys for former Minnesota Democratic Sen. Al Franken, who flipped his loss there to win the seat, and North Carolina Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper, who initially lost but managed to flip that result, too, in 2016.

“Marc Elias, an election lawyer with the powerhouse Democratic firm of Perkins Coie.”

He should be in jail and the firm permanently disbarred for actions in the 2016 election.

It’s not Florida! It’s the transplanted Yankees and associated socialists down in Broward. Those idjits couldn’t count their external genitalia twice and come up with the same number twice in a row.

It’s Secretary Of State Detzner who is over the Division of Elections. I wonder what his political affiliation is and what, if anything, he’s doing to clean up the mess. Why is he permitted a known cheater to continue to work with ballots?

The original scans should be counted as well.

It is very easy to mark a paper ballot after voting day.

The paper ballots need to be correlated to the original scans when there is a mismatch.

It’s about 17K now, but I think most of the Broward vote is in.

Broward County again, right? They haven’t “finished” counting. Or something. Corrupt as hell.

I think cheating on mail-in ballots would be relatively easy. There have already been stories of dozens of mail-in ballots being sent to the same address: “Questions of voter fraud after man finds 83 ballots shipped to a single address in his apartment complex.” and “Mail-in ballots are “the wild West of voter fraud,” a state official told Texas lawmakers in a special committee hearing on election integrity.” The question I have is are the mail-n ballots read by a human and do they check validity of data on ballot or just pass them through?
