The Atlanta suburbs around Cobb, Gwinnett is becoming more Democratic.
I warned people here on FR in the summer that Cobb was changing, but no one listened.
Can you believe this was Newt Gingrich’s district in the 90’s. I can tell you exactly what happened though because I live there.
Many transplants from Northern states working for companies that have relocated down here, as well as tons of imported Islamic and Indian tech employees.
The Socialist idiots reached critical mass during Clintons Presidency and have been exploding ever since with predictable results. It is just a question of time before the US becomes a full on Socialist State.
Republicans and conservatives always take the high moral road and continually lose ground - if they take any ground at all because they’re ‘too busy with other things’ to become active in their country’s politics even to forgetting to vote.
So the Democrats continued to win power until taken over by the Socialists/Communists in the last two decades and more actively continue the herd march toward their chosen cliff.
Karen Handel was ahead even when all of the precincts were counted. (GA-06 is one district to the east of me, covers north Fulton County, east Cobb county.)
Never heard a single Karen Handel ad - even on the conservative WSB 750, AM 920, AM 640, nor religious-oriented radio talk shows across the area. No ads on the country nor business shows. She (Handel) was invisible.)
Lost her nerve (refused to demand a recount) when the democrats nationally DEMAND recounts, and re-recounts, and re-recounts ... until they win.
Conservatives (typical non political conservatives) are sending their kids to schools and universities mentally and spiritually unarmed. They put it in their child’s head since birth that Universities will make them so wise and well rounded, so what do we expect? The schools and colleges are leftist factories.
I like Karen Handel but she is not a good campaigner.
Abrams drove up minority vote in the district, corporate entities in Atlanta supported Abrams and turnout was static for Republicans, until this election most of the collar counties to Atlanta were Republican except DeKalb and Clayton. This year five more were added.
Even though it was Cagle (Kemp’s primary opponent) that pushed through ending fuel tax breaks for Delta in the Republican legislature) Republicans paid the price for supporting the sanctioning of corporations.
This ain’t a bell weather. Handel was and is a useless person guaranteed to lose

Handel ran an AWFUL campaign....virtually no ground game....limited effective advertising.....
Lucy McBath had a great ground game, fantastic ads....
That simple.....
BTW, 6th district covers a large portion of the city of Roswell and North Fulton County.....Strong Republican and conservative areas.....
