Not exactly sure what took so long on this but the White House has finally suspended the “hard pass” press credential for CNN narrative engineer Jim Acosta following his rude behavior and physical confrontation with a White House intern earlier today.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders released the following statement:
“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.”

I think Trump was waiting for mid-terms to be over before coming out with both barrels blazing.
Again, in typical Trump fashion, a very wise and strategic move.

When I watched the video it looked to me like he was going to hit the intern; and she thought so, too. His hand motions were all over the place as he yanked the mike back every time she grabbed it.
I’m watching the repeat now and it outrageous! He’s beyond rude and deserves to be banned! The President called him out Very Well, in PARTICULAR HOW HE TREATED Sarah!

They should end these farcical press conferences entirely and just give public answers to written questions.
Cut out all the opportunity for the elitist corporate press to exercise influence not due to it in a representative system of government.
I would suggest getting rid of all the comfortable chairs; plain old folding chairs should be good enough. One camera in the back of the room focused on Sanders. Never show a reporters face unless he turns around to face the camera to ask his question. Otherwise, the public should only see the back of their head. No face shot, no face time on evening news show.
If that was my daughter she would have slapped Jim Acosta for karate chopping her arm. I wish the woman would have slapped him in the face. CNN liberal jerks getting a pass from the MSM for assaulting a female, bunch of hypocrites and jerks at CNN.
Though I applaud the action, "suspended" is too light. His press pass should be revoked...permanently!
Trump views that he has to back up that young lady. Simple.
