NBC News intelligence and national security reporter Ken Dilanian is no stranger to expressing his opinions on social media. Last month, after the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Dilanian advocated for a change in how senators are allotted to the states.
Now, he’s openly wondering “how much longer the American majority will tolerate being pushed around by a rural minority.”

Bottom line: It won't happen. The constitutional barrier is just too high.
America was designed to allow for regions (states) that had some measure of autonomy and self-determination. Ultimately this may not be a sustainable paradigm, primarily because of out of control immigration... of course.
So, people in ‘rural’ areas aren’t ‘Americans’?..................
Does that so called majority want to eat? Have fresh water? Have clothes? Keep messing with that “minority” and see what happens.

They are talking about how each state has two Senators regardless of population. So according to them, rural sparsely populated states are over represented in the Senate.
They own the media. That’s what we see.
I’m pretty sure I hate dems as much as ANY dem hates us.
And I know a lot who feel the same way.
And if I could have somehow cheated or had the power to deprive dems of their votes last night, I would have done so.
Fervor on both sides is very high.
Who knew, before they took off the gloves and showed everyone who they are. Evil is right! They have gone over the line of civility... after Kavanaugh, they have no limits to which they will stoop!
And they have it backwards. How long before we ruralites get really fed up with the elite city swamp?

Hilary won the popular vote by just over 2%. This guy is talking as if it was like 10% of the country or something.
Electoral college whining? Well, if not for Washoe (Reno) and Clark (Vegas), Nevafornia would still be red. Two counties out of 17 control the state of Calvada. We’re still deciding on the new name.
The Senate structure can’t be changed without the consent of every state. Good luck with it.
Its by design and gridlock is a good thing. Part of the function of the Senate to act as a restraint on the passions of transient House majorities.
